Introducing the first devotional Bible using the King James Version.
Devotional Bibles became popular twenty years ago, and today they comprise a large portion of the Bible market. But until now, there has never been a devotional Bible for those who love and use the King James Version.
Featuring more than 400 devotions, quotes and selections that have been carefully chosen to reflect the impact that the powerful language of the King James Version has had on writers over the span of four centuries, the HendricksonKJV Devotional Bible is the first of its kind.
The devotional selections are interspersed throughout the Bible, placed near related scripture passages, allowing the reader to go at his/her own pace rather than follow a prescribed sequence.
From Charles Wesley to Dallas Willard, C. S. Lewis to Elisabeth Elliot, the featured contributor list reads like a Whos Who in the pantheon of Christian thinkers.

KJV Devotional Bible King James Version 9781598567359 Books Reviews
I enjoyed reading the King James Version a lot afore I found out about the Geneva Bible. Long storie short, I found the King James Version harder to read due to the lack of the scholiums in the 1599 Geneva Bible, and I can now appreciate how the people of England felt when the Geneva Bible was proscribed after the former came out in 1611, and completely disappeared in 1644. I will not denie the beauty of the King James Version, but the language of the Geneva Bible, in my opinion, is stronger, and conveyeth the message of Scripture more clearly than the King James Version, and the scholiums are of great assistance in understanding God's Word. For example the fifteenth verse of the third chapter of The First Booke Of Moses Called Genesis hath the word Bruised when God saith, 'I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her Seed; he shall bruise thine head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.' The word appeareth again in the fifty-third chapter of The Booke Of Isaiah. The word Breake in the Geneva Bible is, in my opinion, stronger, and conveyeth the message clearly. Satan's power was BROKEN when Christ died on the cross at Calvary, and Jesus' body was BROKEN, in a sense, on the cross.
The facsimile edition of the King James Version is better than this edition, in my opinion, though. However, the Geneva Bible, as I have enumerated above, is clearer; but decide foe yourself. (At the present time, I have only read the 1599 Geneva Bible, and hope to one day read the 1560 Geneva Bible).
Lived up to my expectations. Just enough without being overboard. Loved that it is a KJV!
Beautiful! Thanks for the quick shipping.
